It is already 18, almost 19 days into January. 2011 I am afraid is flying by faster then 2010 did. I kind of want this year to fly by because I want to see my brother return from is mission in December. But at the same time, these kiddies are so darling, I want them to stay at this age forever. I feel like I haven't blogged about them lately. These were some photos from Reno and I think at least one of us looks off in each of them! Still cute though! I brought on the mush with this post too...sorry, every once in awhile I have to document the sap.
Brooklyn is perfect...well almost. I don't say that to brag about her, but to document her. She is one of the nicest, or maybe the nicest little girl I have ever met. She is such a little sweetie. Her teachers at church and at school adore her because of how wonderfully good she is.
Brooklyn runs this house. In a good way. She is on top of everything. We were at the store the other day and she said, "Mom, we ran out of milk this morning so we should probably get some." I had not known this, so I was glad she was on top of the milk situation. She is organized and knows where EVERYTHING is. She also knows all the words to all the songs on the radio. So now I have to be careful ;)
This guy is perfect in his own way. He is definitely more work then Brooklyn was at this age, but he has come a long way in his behavior. He is much more calm now and definitely easier then 2 months ago. His personality is magical. It really is. He is infectious, happy, crazy, and also a big charmer. Plus he is so stinkin' cute!
Look at his head. These were from a month ago, but don't worry, those are gone and he replaced them last week with 2 more scrapes and a huge bruise. No joke this kid NEVER EVER doesn't have an owie of some sort on his forehead. This goes to show you how fun he is. He is always running, always playing, and always having a blast.
I have been having a lot of those moments lately where my kids are being so so so adorable, that I stop and wonder how my life got this good. They will be laughing in unison or playing chase and I stop what I am doing and enjoy every minute.
This is a cute one of her! She gave her first talk in Primary on Sunday. She was so excited she could barely sleep the night before. She wrote half of it and we helped with the rest. It was about what Jesus tells us to do. She is fabulous. She got up there, smiled, and spoke perfectly. I can't believe I have a kid in Primary :)
