We celebrated Brooklyn's birthday yesterday and it was a good, good day. She woke up at 730am announcing that is was her birthday! I had a bunch of special plans that kept falling through, but we still had a good day. I am still in shock that I am a mommy to a 4yr old. Next year she will be in Kindergarten. What? So weird. But she is the cutest 4yr old I have ever seen and I love her more now then I ever thought possible and I will always remind her of that. We are a blessed family :)

On Tuesday she had school so luckily her mom remembered that morning that she needed to bring a treat to class. :) Baking at 7am is not my cup of tea, but she loved having cookies to take to school!

All the kids sang to her and she got a little gift from her teacher.

And yesterday was the big day! We celebrate birthdays BIG in this house! Wade and I both are big bday fans!

She got lots of clothes that she had been wanting from Gap and Target! Yes, this 4yr old LOVES clothes and shoes.

She was so excited about this Romper and so was I!

Until she tried it on :) This little girl is tall and skinny with GREAT little legs and this little romper although very cute, was a little too cute on her ;) little too short! So it is going back to Gap :( such a bummer because I
looooveeed it so much!

After opening presents we told her that there was a big surprise behind the chair. :)

Yep! A bike! She has been wanting one for awhile and her bday was the perfect time to purchase it!

She loves it !

The bike is perfect for her!

Nana bought all the cute things to go with it like a bell, basket, pom pom things which make it even cuter!

After a morning of playing outside with Dad, we got some MCD's and headed to the park to meet her bff Triston. We played at the park for a few hours and it was so fun!

Here she is listening to a message from her friend Callie who moved. She LOOOOVED the message :) thanks chels! Sorry, we were at the park when you called!

Then Brooklyn and I went out to shop a little and left the boys home to clean for our bday bbq. The Oblads' came over from a little bbq and here we are singing to her. Don't worry, she will blow out her cake at her party on Saturday :)

After our bbq we headed to Wade's softball game. One of Wade's good friends from school came to see Brooklyn and brought her a present! That was fun! Then we headed to Spoonful and the kids enjoyed their frozen yogurt!

Love this picture!
Happy Birthday sweet Brooklyn. You are my most favorite girl and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect little girl to be the big sister and the oldest! You are dang cute little girl and you will never know how happy you make me :) I am so glad you had a good day! Turning 4 was so fun huh?

What a perfect day! so glad we could join in on some of the fun. And I think the romper looked so cute on her but i see what you mean :) those legs are just too long and skinny-good prob to have though! happy birthday to Brooklyn!!
Oh my gosh, so cute! She looks so happy! What a blast, the parade and everything. You just need to stop having too high of expectations because I'm sure everyone else including Brooklyn had a blast despite the wind and you were the only who was upset! I'm jealous that your school will let you make homemade treats. We have to buy ours.
Ymmmm when you come to Reno again we'll go to U-Swirl. I love frozen yogurt. Brooklyn is so cute. I love that she loves clothes and shoes. Such a girl!
