Here is an Update for ya

And an update for me later as I look back on this! Speaking of that, I have such joy going back through blog from a few years ago. I am so thankful I have this tool to journal about my life and the lives of my children. President Iring once said that we should journal for our children for times when they need it later on in life. I paraphrased that, but I take that comment to heart. So I try and journal for them. I know my kids will love looking back on this. So even though "blogging" is going out of style, it never will be for me. Here is an update for anyone interested in our crazy lives! I will just include pictures with each.

Today has been such a good day. Sundays are my favorite day of the week. I desperately need the spiritual experiences I have at church to keep my going through the week. Being a YW leader is one of my greatest blessings. I am so overwhelmed all the time and so incredibly busy, but I would rather be doing what I am doing now then anything else. Brooklyn said to me on the way home from church (Wade was at choir), " Sunday is a day to be with your family. To watch movies together and to play together. And, to love each other all day long. And to just be a family." I am so thankful that we have been able to teach her about the Sabbath day.
My kids love corn. I bought just 2. Wade bbq'd them on the grill and we went to eat them. Brooklyn asked where hers was. I explained we only bought 2. Here is our convo:

B:Where did you buy them?

Me:Walmart

B:Well when you were buying them, didn't you think you needed to buy weston and I one? How come you didn't think about that? I can't believe that.

Me:I thought we could share them

B:Well I can't believe you didn't think about us. We love corn.

Next time four will definitely be purchased.

Here is some news for ya! We are going to Reno mid May through July 1st (ish) to intern with a federal Judge in Reno. It is a phenomenal opportunity for Wade. I am feeling bittersweet about it. I am devastated to leave my calling for that long and my friends here. But the other half is really happy I will get to spend some good time with our families.
This picture of Wade makes me so happy. I love this guy. He is doing so many good things for our family. He works like 4 jobs for us and does so well in school. I couldn't have married a better guy for me. He is so good looking and smart, and he loves me and I definitely know that.
Wade is finishing up his semester, then we head out. He has one semester left this fall and WE .ARE. DONE! He won't have a spring 2012 semester because of how many credits he took last summer. We still have another year left in Texas though. I would stay in Texas for the rest of my life if it were 2 states closer to NV, UT and ID, where our family is!
This cute boy just gets cuter and cuter by the day I am pretty sure! His talking has gotten sooooo good lately. I can pretty much communicate anything to him.

Brooklyn took this picture of me. I include it because I love this dress! Too bad you can't see the whole thing. It is floor length and so yummy!
Here are my little Wii players. These two are having so much fun these days playing together. Too bad that a lot of their fun also includes a lot of fighting!
The other night we had our good friends Sam, Brittney and Weston's buddy James came over for a bbq the the other day. Weston and James are finally at an age that they recognize they are friends and they are quite cute. At the table they were having a blast together! I love that Weston loves James.

I have been listening to this while journaling. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDiIeK7epfw. So good, so so good.
