Easter

I am so happy that today is Easter. I really needed a good day today and an extra reason to count my blessings. This week has been awful. Between our home in Reno that we own flooding, our trooper pooping out, getting a rock chip on our brand new car, to Wade in bed sick today(plus some other bummer things), I needed today to be wonderful and it has been. I was able to go to the Temple twice this week and desperately needed those peaceful feelings as well. It is amazing what happens when everything can be going wrong and then you go to the Temple and nothing in the world matters. It is so refreshing. We had an incredible lesson in Young Women's today. All about Easter, Our Savior, The Atonement and The Resurrection-true miracles.

Here are some pictures from today. Half are edited and half badly needed to be. Truthfully, my fam is napping and I want to join them, so half of the pics are gross ;)

The Easter bunny definitely found his way to our home last night. He even left a scavenger hunt of clues that lead the kids to their baskets! It was so fun watching them try and figure out where the next clue was.

This was his highlight! He loves balls and he needed one he can kick around at the park, because he usually tries to steal other kids balls so he can kick it around!

Weston also got the Toy Story soundtrack which we listened to on the way to church and her danced the whole time.

Brooklyn loved her basket as well. She woke up running into our room asking if the bunny ate the carrots we left him. I love how for each holiday she immediately wakes up and remembers the day and how excited she is!

Ok isn't this bow tie ridiculously darling? Yes, it sure is and I am in love! My SIL made it for Weston and a matching hair bow for Brooklyn. Wendy, if you read this, THANKYOU. I love it with my whole soul and it worked perfectly for our Easter outfits!

These two are gorgeous. We got a lot of comments today on how cute they looked! It is so fun to dress them alike!

Today Brooklyn learned in Sunbeams all about the Resurrection. She explained it to me perfectly. I am so grateful we go to church and that she learns so many wonderful things in Primary.

Tonight we are having our good friends over for some ribs, bbq corn on the cob, rolls, deviled eggs and homemade ice cream. We are excited.

Yesterday we had a great day too! I will have to blog about that maybe in a few days. I will tell you that Weston was obsessed with the Easter Bunny!

Did I ever mention how incredibly expensive April and May are? Here is why: Brooklyn's bday, Easter, Wade's bday, my bday, Weston's bday, Mother's Day, Winter's bday and Blake's bday. Honestly, I will purposely not have a baby in either month again. Seriously...

Happy Easter! I know my Savior Lives and I know that He loves me.
