Best Birthday EVER

I definitely had one of the best birthdays yesterday. It was so fun and full of a lot of sweet moments! May 3rd is such a GOOD day :) The cute moments happened the night before....

Macy, the kids and I went on Monday night to Old Navy and then over to this little jewelry store looking for mothers day gifts. After leaving ON we walked over to Dustee's and I was in front of Macy and Brooklyn. Brooklyn had a diaper bag over her shoulder and pulls out some earrings. She then whispers to Macy these adorable words...Look Macy I got these earrings for mom! They are for her birthday and they are a surprise. shhhh don't tell her. Macy laughed and came over to me and explained that Brooklyn had stolen a pair of earrings, but that is was for the cutest reason. I look behind me to Brooklyn and she is holding a pair of earrings with the cutest smile and told me that it was supposed to be a surprise for my bday. SO CUTE. Then she walked back to ON, head down and very sad.

She is so cute to think about getting me a gift for my bday. She told me she thought they would look so pretty on me. I LOVE that girl!
We are Red Mango for lunch. Frozen yogurt for bday lunch?...DEFINITELY!

Macy got me some cute jewelry and paid to get my toes done! Love ya Macy!

Then with some of my bday money, I headed to Kohls because a few people told me they had cute shorts and capris there. I scored BIG! Then we shopped some more, got a sonic drink and shopped some more. PERFECT day. And my kids were angels all day despite not having naps!

Then we went to Outback for dinner with Ally and her family. It was delish. Then my sis, and some good friends met to get our toes done. It was so fun and our toes look super cute!

Then we headed to Chili's (for the 2nd year in a row) for dessert! It was a PERFECT night! Thanks girls for the gifts, the fun, and for spending time with me on my bday!

Here are some other sweet moments that I want to remember:

*Wade making me my favorite breakfast and hurried so I could have it before I left for the gym.

*Facebook messages. I loved getting on FB and seeing all the nice birthday wishes!

*Jena sent me 2 online cards that were great and made my day. Then I check the mail and there was another really sweet card from her! LOVED THEM!

*Phone calls from my family. My family was so good at calling all day and singing to me. I really wished I could have spent my day with them!

*Weston singing to me all day without being prompted. He sang and sang to me all day. I could have eaten him up all day!


*Wade calling me on the phone asking "how his birthday girl" was.

*Brooklyn asking me as I put her to bed, how come I didn't eat any cake.

*Wade scouring the house top to bottom until 1030pm.

*Putting the kids to bed was the icing on the cake for me. Weston laid in his bed telling me goodnight, lah ou, bye bye and then sang to me "birtday to you, to mommy... over and over while moving his head from side to side. Then Brooklyn sang to me and told me she loved me. I almost cried it was so sweet. Definitely the highlight of my birthday!

*Macy ended up having Brooklyn buy me the earrings from Old Navy and that made my day too!
