I cannot even explain how hectic life has been this last few weeks. I have so many blog posts over due. My family has been hassling me about my blog and finally I have a spare moment to sit down and jot it all down. Here are the most recent happenings. I will post more later this week :)

My good friend Brittney and I hosted a baby shower for our good friend Ally. It was so fun and Brittney and I had fun planning it. I had all these fabulous ideas for the shower but in reality we are still on a student budget. Britt and I did a good job on the shower I think:) btw...I love love love showers/parties. I could go to one every weekend and I would be happy!

After 2 months of insane studying, Wade took the Texas Bar last week! That thing is a freaking beast. Wade thinks it might be the most insane test of all the different career tests one could take. 3 days/15 hours/12 essays/40 short answer/200 multiple choice/1 memo. YUCK! We are so relieved it is over. We had plans to celebrate the night he was done but our friends got sick who were supposed to watch our kids. So we just ended up at Chic FilA and the play place. Then we hit up Chili's the next night as a family to celebrate some more! It feels so bizarre having Wade home and doing nothing. The last 2 weeks he was logging in about 16 hours each day of studying! It's over and that is a nice feeling. Now he has a "honey do" list to work on ;)

In the last 3 weeks we have had the flu twice and one BAD viral infection. Brooklyn got the flu first then Weston and I got it. Then a week later Weston came down with this horrible viral thing. Then Brooklyn and I got it. All involved, puking, hives, diarrhea, fever, ect. Ughhh. We are just 100% healthy today. 3 weeks of puking and sickness is a little much! All while Wade was in his last weeks of crazy studying. We count our blessings in a big way that Wade never got any of it!

Oh and while all of that puking was going on we ended up in the ER with this cute girl. She got a pretty severe concussion at the gym 2 weeks ago. She blacked out, puked, and looked liked death. So I rushed her to the ER where they did a CatScan. Thankfully her brain was ok, but they said she had a pretty bad one. She couldn't even do any of the Doctor's little tests. She was sooooo out of it. Head injuries are scary! And watching her being strapped up to a bed for the scan was sad to watch. She was brave though!

So as of today I think we are all healthy and happy. I will tell you two things that kept me busy while I was husband less. Army Wives and Prison Break on Netflix. I became so obsessed with Army Wives that I actually watched all 5 seasons and 81 episodes (they are all an hour each:) in 10 days. I think by far that show is my most favorite show I have ever watched. And the new season started yesterday and so I am back to happy! Prison Break was really good too!

Now we are just looking forward to May! Wade and I booked a cruise to the Bahamas in May! wahoo. We can't wait. We figure we have to go now because a year from now I could have a small baby, be pregnant, ect. The timing is perfect now. Stay tuned for lots more updates this week. I am way behind!
