Small Talk

My kids have chores and they are so good about them. They rarely whine about them. I think my kids are such good little helpers and really good kids. Their chores include: emptying the dish washer, helping put up the groceries, making their bed, clearing the table after meals and picking up their room.

I got my hair done a few days ago and I love it! I had about 4 inches of sick out growth! I seriously am counting down the days until we aren't living on a student budget and I can go and get my hair done regularly.
I am currently reading in the book of Mosiah from the Book of Mormon. What a good, interesting story. My love of the BofM is growing stronger the more and more I read it. I have never been a consistent at reading my Scriptures, but I am right now. Sure I am 21 days behind my schedule on readthescriptures.com but I am reading and loving it!
We are anxiously awaiting General conference. I love love love GC weekend. Listening to a modern day prophet is something I look forward to. They had Prophets in the Bible and we do today. I love being apart of a church that has a prophet. Every conference we pull out the cards with the apostles and prophet's picture on them and we have the kids memorize who they are so that when they see them during conference they know who is who.

The other night we went to the Drive In. Saw The Lorax for the kids and then planned on having them fall asleep while Wade and I watched The Vow. Right as the Vow starts Weston starts screaming and crying saying his ear hurt. He was hurting so bad we had to take him home. No movie for us. Guess he had an ear infection. So that means in the past 3 weeks Weston has had: stomach flu, a bad virus that included hives, diarrhea, puking, fever, and he now has a crazy bad cold and an ear infection. Guess that is a product of a little kid who goes to the gym day care 3 times a week. I need to loose 6 more lbs to get to my ideal weight...so I need to be at the gym. UGHHH!
Brooklyn did the cutest thing today. I wrote at a grocery list and Brooklyn got ahold of it after I had gone to get ready. As I was at the store I pulled out the list and noticed she had written some things on my list. I asked if she had gotten a hold of my list and she said yesssssss. She asked me to read what she wrote. It said AW. I asked what AW was and she replied," I wrote A&W because I wanted you to buy some soda, so I added A&W(root beer) to your list. I thought I sneaked it on there so you would buy it." hahahahaha! She really thought to add A&W to my list so that I would buy some soda. Hilarious. I then had to buy some root beer because that was just way too cute!

A few minutes ago we were listening to some music and Weston asked me to dance. That little boy. He is so cute and I love him. Then he said the words that every little boy tells his mom. He told me he was going to get married. I asked who he was marrying and he said he is marrying..."you mommy."

P.s. Did you love our little photo shoot? My kids kept asking to take pictures and took some of me. I will never say no to cooperating picture takers :)
