The week after school got out for the summer, I booked a room at a local resort here in Phoenix. I thought it would be a fun tradition to start and a fun way to celebrate the kids hard work through the school year. We had a blast.
Something about staying in a hotel is so fun. We got there on a Friday afternoon. We checked out the resort and then had pizza delivered to our room. Then we went swimming that night.
The next morning we got up, got some breakfast and spent the rest of the day poolside.
This resort was AWESOME.
The weather was in the low 90's which to us now is cool weather :) It was perfect and we literally spent the entire day lounging, swimming and had so much fun with our little family.
We ordered lunch at the pool and Wade ordered me a special yummy drink. I love those virgin daqs.
I love this family of mine. We love to get out and make fun memories together and I think we do a pretty dang good job of it.
