Chores, Pretty Toes, and Happy St. Patty's Day

Here are a few things going on with little Miss Brooklyn at the moment!

She is almost 2 and it is about time we get her started on some chores! She has to earn her stay in this family right??? j/k but we are having her help out around the house and she actually loves it!
She loves to help dad sweep the kitchen floor up. She holds out the dust pan and then with help from dad, dumps it in the trash.

I will take what I can get being this pregnant. She is such a great help to me:)

She has a few more jobs in the kitchen. She has to put away all the silver ware and tupper ware. She knows exactly where every thing goes too! She is also in charge of putting the little dishwasher soap square in the dishwasher when it is time to turn a load on. She then closes the lid and closes the dish washer door.

She has laundry chores too:) I can't bend over like I used to be able to, so she usually helps me get the clean clothes out. She also has to put all the clothes that go in the dryer in too! I love that she has a want to help me and be a part of the things I am doing...for now:)

Our best family friend Jenny is in nail school. She was doing Winters' the other day for her wedding and then insisted that Brooklyn needed some bling on her toes. Brooklyn LOVED it!

She eventually got so obsessed with them and looking and touching them, that she pulled the diamonds off. Then she was very sad:(

And today is St. Patty's day. We started off our day at a little party with our play group friends from the other ward we lived in the NW. Brooklyn colored a rock, played pin the leprechaun on the pot of gold and then went on a treasure hunt to find the leprechauns left treasure. She had a total blast. I had fun catching up with all of my friends whom I have not seen in a few months.

We then met my mom for some lunch at Port of Subs. Got to love all of the green you see today!
