Saturday night we got home late from all the weekend wedding activities but I snuck in a trip to the mail box. We have not heard anything in 2 weeks which has been a bummer. To my surprise, there was a big envelope waiting for us from Golden Gate School of Law. Their letter was such a TREAT to read! They accepted him and gave him a $75, 000 scholarship over the three years. This would leave our tuition at about $9,000/year. He has to maintain a 3.0 gpa though. We hear that is easier said than done, but I have no doubt Wade won't have a problem with that requirement!
Could this be our next home for the next 3 years??? I think it just might. Here are the reasons:1. It is right over the hill from Reno. A 3 1/2 hour drive!
2. Super easy to travel to Reno, SLC, or even Idaho to see Wade's parents!
3. Super easy for anyone to come and see us!
4. Wade and I LOVE LOVE LOVE San Fransisco. It would be a dream to live there!
5. Wade loves big cities, sky scrapers, and crazy down towns. The school is located on Mission Street, the school itself is a high rise building(Wade fell in love). The school is literally blocks from the piers!
6. The tuition cost would help us keep debt down! We would probably live outside the city like in Oakland, S. Bay, or other surrounding cities and Wade would take Bart, bus or train into school!
So we are SUPER DUPER excited!

that's great news Lindsay. The scholarship is good and it's so close to Reno.
That is so exciting! What an awesome scolarship. I ove San Francisco and it has a special place in my heart because that is where Michael and I got engaged and spent our first Christmas. And we could visit you there too!
