Draper Temple

On Friday when we got to Utah we met my sister Winter and our good friend Marissa and her little girl Kaylee for lunch at Cafe Rio. YUM! I am not the biggest Mexican food lover but I had the enchiladas with sweet pork and the special sauce and I about died of happiness! It was SO good. Thanks Winter for the tip:) It was great seeing Marissa and Kaylee since it was been almost a year since I saw Kaylee...when she was a week old. She is adorable and I am so glad I finally got to see her! Her and Brooklyn will be great friends one day! Anyway, after lunch we headed to the new Draper Temple with my sister. We were kind of bummed to find out that it takes about an hour and a half to go through so we had to leave because of time. It was nice to see the outside though. Brooklyn LOVES LOVES LOVES to see Temples and she new exactly what we were driving up to. It was a TAD bit chilly so we didn't stay long, but long enough to get a few pictures and to see what it looks like!

I kind of wish the tunnels weren't there because they took away from the look and distracted you from really seeing the whole Temple, but they serve a purpose for now. Brooklyn the whole rest of the day kept talking about the Temple. I am so glad that at this young age she can recognize one and wants to talk about them.

While we were in Utah we stayed at the Marriott and they had an in door pool that we all took advantage of twice. I am way too big to fit in a swim suit so I just hung out talking in the chairs, but Brooklyn and Wade had a blast both times. She loves kicking her legs, going under water, and splashing around.

Yeah...this is the best I could get of these two little camera stinkers. They had fun though!
