Weekend Recap

We had a pretty good week and weekend. My sister Winter is getting married on Thursday and she has come to Reno early to finish everything. She gets married in Oakland so we will be headed there on Wednesday. Tuesday is her first time going through the Temple, so we are in for a BIG week. We had a really good week/weekend. Here is what we did:

Through the week we shopped a lot for wedding stuff for Brooklyn and some things I am doing for the wedding. The only things left that I need to buy are the guest book and Brooklyn's bow or headband. FINALLY all of the wedding stuff is almost done:)

Monday we had FHE at our house with our buddies. Just pizza this time, but it was fun!
Tuesday we played at Teri and Kades'.
Wednesday we had a SUSHI date with Jenny. YUMO!
Thursday we shopped all day. That night I had a pedicure and got some gels on my toes! They are pretty stinkin' cute!
Friday I worked out in the morning, had an appointment, then shopped some more for the bridal shower I was planning for Winter. Then I made some salmon and some chicken(I can't remember the last time we ate dinner at home on a Friday night....seriously!)Then we just watched the first season of Friends. Low key Friday, which is also unusual!
Saturday morning Jenny Farr and I threw Winter a GREAT bridal shower. So weird that the shower was for my younger sister but at the same time so great! We had delicious food and she had a really good time with great company!
Saturday night we got some Chinese food and then hung out at my parents with Winter and watched the UNR game.
Sunday- Today we attended a GREAT Stake Conference where we got to hear some great talks and also heard from our Prophet, something I always love:) We came home, took naps and then headed over to my families for some tri tip dinner, and some killer rounds of Boulderdash and Taboo. FUN TIMES!

Listen to what happens this week:
Tues- Temple for Winter
Wed- Drive over to Oakland and begin a fun night before Winter becomes a WIFE!
Thurs- Winter gets sealed, say cheese, eat at a luncheon, drive back to Reno.
Fri- Reception
Sat- Breakfast and watch Winter get spoiled with presents, then a Sushi date again with Macy, Wade, Jenny and myself!

Then the next weekend we head back over to Utah for her UT reception. Then the next weekend after that we head to the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH... DISNEYLAND and to check out the school Wade got a full ride to.

Pheww...are you still with me? We are going to have a JAM packed March.

Enough about our busy lives. Here are some pictures of Brooklyn. She is getting to be SO fun. I know I always say that, but her 2-3 week naughty phase has passed and now we are just enjoying her. She is also becoming super cuddly, which is a new phase. Her big girl bed is still a success. She goes right to sleep every night and comes in to our room in the morning with her blanket, binky, mickey, poochie, and a little bear all in toe. I could be woken up to her walking up to the side of my bed with all of her stuff everyday of my life! Her potty training is also going smoothly, although I am not sure we can officially say she is potty trained. We are so proud of her!

I think she has an AMAZING smile. Finally I got it on camera. Usually I get the cheese ball smile! Isn't she so beautiful with that bright smile and big sparkly blue eyes?

See... cheese again. But she loves her scarf and I think she looks adorable!

Oh yeah...I have forgotten to document that Wade was accepted to another Law School. This one is in Wisconsin and is called...MARQUETTE. This is probably the highest ranked law school we have heard back from so far! It is pretty dang good:) But also very expensive! Now his count is 6 for 6! 7 more to go:UNLV, BYU, UofU, Golden Gate, Willamette, N. Carolina Central, and Gonzaga(I am waiting for this one!) You rock Wade!
