Weston Slade

My little buddy is growing up so fast. I can't believe he is 5 months. Where has the time gone? Speaking of that, this first semester is FLYING by too. I can't believe it. Thankfully I am really enjoying life. Weston and Brooklyn feel the same way. We are all so happy! I asked Wade the other day why we got so lucky to have two very easy kids. He said it was because of their mommy. I beg to differ. I do feel lucky to have such nice, easy going kids. They are both so sweet too. Don't get me wrong, we most certainly have our days and weeks of difficulties, but as a whole they are great kiddos. Per Macy's request, I give you a post all about Weston.

He loves his sister.

He is obsessed with chewing on anything in sight. I have yet to feel a tooth...but I know it is on its way, it has to be. He drools like no ones business too.

He doesn't complain about tummy time anymore. He still prefers his back, but he does just fine on his tummy. He is getting around on his tummy too. He is doing the motions of an army crawl, so we will see where that leads.

It is an impossible task to take pictures of these two together. I got super frustrated and gave up.

This kid is perfectly chunky. He looks huge in this picture but he is just right in my opinion. I was telling my friends today that I have never had a chunker and cleaning out his rolls and under his chin is pretty funny. I can't wait to see what his stats are when we go to the Dr.

He is in 3-6 month clothes. I just went through all of his 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes. It is ridiculous but I have a whole huge bin for each size. He has soooooooo many clothes. I am not sure he will wear them all. Brooklyn has a ton too. Guess I am a good shopper?? I think combined right now they have more than I do:) And that is just one size for each of them. I should take a picture of their closet. I do really enjoy dressing them though, so it is fun for me to have so many clothes for them. Trust me they were all clearance!

They play well together. Finally they are really interacting with each other and enjoying each other. Before it was more like Brooklyn talked to him and he smiled. Now they play on the floor together and play with Weston's toys.

Oh I have never mentioned this before, but Weston LOVES showers. I put him in there with Wade and he could stay in there for hours. He loves to be directly under the water. Even with his face under the water. He totally relaxes and doesn't move. He is a crazy mover, so the fact that he stays still is something worth reporting!

And he loves loves Brooklyn's tulle. He grabs and grabs it every time...and tries to eat it.
