More Easter Fun

Our Easter Sunday was so awesome. We got up, did a little scavenger hunt to find the baskets, watched conference, ate tons of candy, then more candy and headed to our friends Shawn and Chelsea to watch the rest of conference and eat our Easter dinner. I am so thankful for good friends to spend holidays away from family with. I am also thankful we were able to watch conference and I am grateful we were able to spend Sunday as a family.
Here are their Easter baskets! Hardly any candy and lots of fun stuff.

Brooklyn totally got into the scavenger hunt. She knew the answer to every clue and loved running to find the next. It was a Heims tradition that I am happy to continue! It was so much fun.
She was so excited to find the clue and run it to her dad and ask what it said.
Checking out the Easter basket. Her response to each thing she pulled out was, "ohhh, wow, ohhhh, oh my gosh, ohhh!
So we had to put the baskets in the bathroom because Weston is so obsessed with the bathroom. We knew he would be ecstatic to crawl in there and find his basket. Don't' worry, Wade was a good dad and took Lysol wipes and cleaned it the night before so it would be nice and clean.
See...so excited!

He totally loved his basket too!

And she was on cloud nine too!

I totally gave him this chocolate marshmallow bunny! Yes it was 8:30 and we all were eating candy!
Good friends and yummy food!
Kids table.
It was such beautiful weather yesterday so we ventured outside after dinner to do another little egg hunt. The guys played wuffle(sp?) ball too. It was such a warm, nice night and I am so glad we got to spend sometime outside.

This girl turns the big 3 tomorrow! We plan on making it a very special day with a trip to make pottery, lunch, bounce house, dinner and cake and ice cream...all with friends of course!
