Best Friends

Our friends came back to Lubbock for a visit from Dallas. We are so lucky that Dani's family lives here so we will be able to see them every so often. We hadn't seen them since they moved 3 months ago. They were here for a few days and we definitely maxed out every day. We definitely can't get enough of them :)

Bridget and Weston were so so so cute. They had a real rocky relationship prior to the move so we were happy to find out they had matured in 3 months time :) Listening to the play and giggle was about the cutest thing ever.
Then these two. Serious lovers ;) They are connected at the hip. Here are my favorite things we heard:
*Brooklyn saying that she wants to marry Triston over and over
*Triston telling his Nana that Brooklyn is his most favorite friend in the whole world.
*As they pull up to our house the first day Triston tells his mom that he is really nervous to see Brooklyn, that his tummy has butterflies and that he can't wait to see her, but might be a little quiet because of how nervous he is :)
*Hearing them play, watching them hold hands everywhere we went, hugging each other, and never wanting to go home.

Good buddies.
We ate out for lunch everyday, went to the mall, swam, ran through sprinklers, played for hours and hours at our house, went to the gym, and Brooklyn even spent the night at their Nana's house...they stayed up till about 11 chatting and having a wonderful time.
Dani was even in town on Monday night so we could watch Bachelorette together like old times :)

Dani and me :) I miss her so much it hurts and the thought of us not living near each other anymore is about the worst thing ever. It's not every day you find a friend like her. Thank goodness we keep in close touch :)
