Random happenings

Today we got home from church and I told the kids to go get changed into regular clothes. As I walk into their room after 10 minutes, I saw that Brooklyn had changed Weston's diaper. Poopy diaper. And guess what? She did it perfectly. No messes at all. She did use about 10 wipes, but she did it. She told me she likes to change his diapers. I told her no more changing poopy diapers though ;)

Yesterday we had the best day. We got up, headed to see Winnie the Pooh, went out to lunch, ran some errands, took a nap and then went out all night running more errands. It was a day we spent just as a family and it was awesome. As we were eating lunch at this yummy chicken finger place, I looked at my kids and Wade and I couldn't believe that this was my family. My kids are getting so big and old and darling. We are now at a stage where we have fun as a family. We all talk, and converse, and laugh together and it is so so fun. And I know it is just going to get better and better the older we get.

Weston referred to pooh bear as Poop and so multiple times through the movie he yelled out... "There's Poop" and "Where'd Poop go?". It was funny and so cute. The rest of the day he talked about poop :)

I made these cupcakes at one of our young women activities. We had a professional come in with all these fun tools and taught us how to make fancy cupcakes. Really fun and yummy :)
My kids definitely enjoyed my creative work! The next morning I found that Weston had gotten the stool from the bathroom, taken it to the counter and was enjoying round 2 of cupcakes. It's like he woke up and thought about the cupcakes and knew right where to get them!

One day we had Chic Fil A' two meals in a row! Why? Because it was National Cow day and Chic Fil A' was celebrating by giving any customer dressed up like a cow a free meal. We met our friends Brittney and James there for lunch. My kids dressed up like cows and so did I and we got 3 free meals.

Then we headed there for dinner too with Wade. I love this guy...not many men would look like this in public to get a free meal. Wade definitely would :) We love chic fil a!
