I have been busy. Love that feeling :) I went to Youth conference last Thursday through late Saturday. Our stake did it 5 hours away in cabins in New Mexico. I was surrounded by tons of 14-18 year olds and it was fun. I missed my kids though...and I am glad I did because they make me the happiest. As I watched the youth through the 3 days it constantly had me thinking what Brooklyn and Weston will be like as teenagers. Anyway, it got me thinking about how I think they will be.
Here is what I think:
Brooklyn will be gorgeous, tall, skinny, and super sweet. I think she will be one of those that her leaders will want to clone. But I think she will be so sweet that she will be walked all over by people. There was this one girl up there that had her mom there as a leader and every time she saw her mom she would run to her and give her long, sweet hugs....that will be Brooklyn. Oh and I think Brooklyn will be SUPER fun, but it will take her a minute to warm up. I think the boys will like her ;)
Weston will be super studly and super smart. I can see him being like this one kid there that I watched the entire time and thought...I want Weston to be like him. Weston (and this boy) will be the life of the party, super cute, but have a sweet, spiritual side....and when he needs to be serious he will be. On the other hand I also think he will not always make the best choices with his friends...not morally, just like funny dumb things like doing fire crackers illegally...
Anyway, when I got home Wade had the house immaculate. He has spent 6 hours cleaning. Then he unloaded my bags, did my laundry, cleaned out the car, put my stuff away. Such a keeper he is.
In other news, Weston is going through a "dammit" phase just like Brooklyn did. We don't say it all that often but both have had this phase at about the same age. It is so cute when Weston says is that I have a hard time telling him that it is naughty :)
Our bestest friends in the whole wide world are here for a few days visiting. It is heaven on earth. I miss Dani and her kids to the point it hurts, so it is wonderful to see her. I have a whole post worth of adorable things that I need to document that have just happened last night and today :)
And...I stole these photos from my wonderful friend Sara's blog. While in Reno, we were able to double date it and go to dinner. We love them and it was a blast catching up. Miss you Sara :)
