Me and this guy had a conversation the day after Halloween. Wade mentioned how obnoxious it was to see a bunch of teenagers out Tricker-or-Treating. He said once Brooklyn and Weston hit 6th grade they are done! I immediately said...NOT GUNNA happen! I Trick-or Treated while in high school and I loved it! I told him our kids will do the same. He said no. I said yes! As long as they go a little later in the night and are kind, patient and respectful of the little ones, I am all for it!
I wanted to documented this little debate, so I can remember we had this and see who eventually wins. I bet I will because I am sure our kids will be on my side and he will be out numbered!

oh my gosh! Sorry Wade, but no way!
O my moses!!! Wade what the poo??? 6th grade??? No way! As long as they actually dress up and like lindsay said, be really respectful then i say let them till they dont want to anymore..... its not hurting anyone!
Thank you to my sisters! I knew you would agree!!! See you both is 2 weeks from TODAY!!!!
Sorry I have to agree with Wade. Trick or treating is for kids. Have your teenagers have a party then they can still dress up and eat candy.
I agree with Wade. I hate big kids comming around to get candy. I stopped after 6th grade and then I would just throw parties with my friends, which was way more fun than trick or treating for our age. I think that is a good compromise. Help you kids throw a fun Halloween bash that is more suited for their age. I almost set a couple kids home without candy this year because they were too big. There is no way I would have gone trick or treating through High School, (notice the only people agree with you are you sisters, who grew up in the same house as you.) And Wade gets Shawns vote too. He also stopped at age 12.
