Day 3: We love you mommy!

Happy Mothers Day! Your kids are so blessed to have a momma like you! Brooklyn came home from church today with the cutest little paper flower pot and paper flowers for you! Written on the stems of each of the flowers was something that she loves about you. My favorite one says "I love when I am nice and my mom tells me she is proud of me". Love it!

Haha once again, I thought I would have plenty of time to get everything ready before church but totally underestimated the amount of time I would need even though I had the church bag ready and church clothes laid out the night before. So Chunnie ate his waffle and drank his milk in the car on the way to church and his hair was sticking up like crazy on one side. But, we made it to church right as it was about to start. Oh and I think you need to invest in getting Chunnie bigger church shoes. I honestly think I spent 15 minutes trying to get all 3 pairs of his church shoes on him this morning. Thankfully we were able to get his brown ones on. It was funny though because he said they didn't hurt his feet when I finally got them on but I don't think I have ever seen a kid take off their shoes faster the second we got home from church, he barely was even in the door! He wasn't complaining they hurt though but it was just funny. I was laughing the whole time I was trying to get his shoes on because they looked plenty big but for some reason I could not get his right foot in. He kept getting mad at me because I was laughing. Sorry bud!

Chunnie was kind of sad to go into nursery and wanted Brooklyn to stay with him. I think with you being gone and all it kind of just threw him off. But once James and Jaxon were in there he was much more comfortable and gave me a kiss and then went and played! He said he ate gold fish and blew really big bubbles! Brooklyn was so cute, right when I picked her up she ran to me and gave me a hug and then went on to tell me about how she told all of her teachers all about me and how I am watching them this week! I love your kids!

Here are some pictures we took outside right after church:

After naps Ally and Tim invited us over for dinner. Ribs, potatoes, veggie, rolls, chicken, and salad! It was so good! Seriously Linds, you have such great friends here in Lubbock! I brought brownies. Yeah, I definitely should have listened to you. I will not make brownies ever again. I think these tasted alright but they sure looked messed up!  Here is a picture of the mess I had to make in order to get the brownies to look like they were cut in squares and to look edible!

When we got home we skyped mom to say Happy Mothers Day and Brooklyn had fun doing my hair and then putting all of her bows in her hair! She's crazy but she sure is cute!

The kids went to be so quickly! They were exhausted... especially Chunnie boy. Tomorrow we are going to plant seeds, build a fort, go to Hobby Lobby and get a few crafts, play at the mall play place, and hopefully ride bikes outside if it stops raining!

We love you and miss you!
