Today was the best day so far, and that is saying something because we have been having so much fun this whole time! We took Brooklyn to school and she was so so excited to show me her class and have me meet her teacher. Seriously this whole week, every single day, she has been quizzing me on the names of everyone in her class from her class picture. So adorable. Then Chunnie Boy and I headed to Legacy Village park. Today was the first day it was actually nice outside so we took full advantage of it and stayed at the park for a few hours. The park was way fun but two things: since it has been raining all week everything was wet and Chunnie did not like that. And the other was how eerie it was! Hahah. We got there around 9:15 and we were the only ones there and that whole wood climbing thing was just eerie. When we were climbing through it I thought someone was going to jump out at us any second. LOL. Chunnie didn't think so which was good.
Also there were seriously dozens of bunnies all over the park!! Chunnie thought they were so cute and fun!
After we picked Brooks up from school we headed over to Ally's for lunch and the kids played and jumped on the tramp. Have I already told you that you seriously have such great friends?!?! Ally and Tim have been so nice to make sure we are okay. We then came home and all three of us took a much needed 3 hour nap!!!When we all woke up we planted the flower seeds that we bought a few days ago.
We then went to Mcd to get a happy meal that I have been promising them since I got here! They loved it. It was funny, Brooklyn got chocolate milk and Ronald Mcdonald was on it and she was like what is this guys name? I told her Ronald Mcdonald and she started busting up laughing saying that that was the funniest name she has ever heard. After she quit laughing she said " that name is so funny, his name sounds like Top Ramen!" Haha I laughed pretty hard! Oh and this morning on the way to school we were talking about how she has to dress up at a cowgirl on Thursday for her picnic at school and we were thinking of ideas of what she could wear. She told me she should wear her Hello Kitty shirt because" Hello Kitty is just pretend but it is just like a horse and horses are very cowgirl". Haha I don't think she has put two and two together that hello kitty is a cat. Or maybe she thinks cats look like horses?! I don't know but I thought it was funny. Silly girl!
After the kids ate Mcd (I ate the taquitos you made for me! Oh my they were so good! Thank you for making them for me before you left!!) we started our craft that the kids have been dying to do since we bought it. We all had so much fun making shirts! Brooklyn wanted a princess on her shirt and chunnie of course wanted the giants!
I think Brooklyn's shirt turned out so adorable! She did almost everything by herself, I just guided her. Her drawing is getting so so good!
Chunnie's on the other hand.....
Then we did one more craft that we bought at Hobby Lobby. The kids colored these wood things. Brooklyn of course picked out the princess one. Weston picked out this paddle thing with the ball attached.
What a fun day huh?!? Your kids were so so good today!
We sure miss you! but we are having lots of fun! We love you!
