Brooklyn has been busy

Can you believe that my beautiful little Brooklyn is now almost 16 months old?I find myself more and more in love with her everyday. I literally cannot get enough of her. She is at this stage that is amazing. She is really a little person now. She now expresses her feelings, notices our feelings and is very aware of everything. She knows exactly what she wants and knows exactly how to get it! I have not done an update on just her in awhile, it usually is me posting about the fun things we are doing this summer. So here is a post about all the things she is doing and loving. No fun pictures this time because I am having a very hard time getting her to look at the camera and to cooperate!

*Brooklyn absolutely LOVES LOVES LOVES bananas. The minute she wakes up and we head down stairs she is begging...literally begging for a "nana". She then asks for them all day long. I usually limit her to 2/day!

This is how she eats her banana. She tries to put the whole thing in her mouth at once! What ever works right?

* Brooklyn still enjoys swimming. She asks to go "miming" everyday. She brings me her swim suit, her swimmies or the towels and begs me to take her. Luckily we have 3 friends that have pools close by, so we swim about 3 times a week.

* Brooklyn knows all her body parts and loves the game where we ask her where her checks, hair, teeth, eyes, ect. are.

*Brooklyn is still very into her sleeping. She now tells us at night when she is ready for bed. Around 8 or 830 she will come up to us and say, " na ni!" and then she heads towards the stairs! How awesome is that? What a dream kid we have. She also is very patient with me in the morning and will just lay or play in her crib until I come in and get her! I have been very sleepy lately and waking up around 830- 9, go into her room and she is just sitting there! I feel kind of bad because she probably has been up for awhile before I get there. She is just such a sweet kid.

*She is talking a lot now. She knows a ton of words. One of my new favorites is when she either grabs my earrings or wedding ring and says, "pri pri" for pretty. She also loves to have jewelry on too.

*This little girl has one of the cutest personalities I have ever seen from a 16 month old. She is still extremely social, almost too much, but is very outgoing and is the easiest kid you will ever meet. I am one lucky mom to have such a sweet, EASY, kind and fun daughter!

*Lastly Brooklyn loves her two favorite shows Mickey Mouse Club House and the Hot Dog dance at the end. She also likes Handy Many. I love watching her get into these two cute shows.

*Oh how could I forget her newest obsession. CLIMBING...uhhhh not a fun one for mom. She literally climbs onto everything in sight. She moves the chairs up to the counter and climbs onto the counters and then walks around. She even climbs onto the desk, the kitchen table, coffee table, and the table at the restaurants. It is so so dangerous but she loves the thrill and she thinks it is funny. I disagree with her on that. She scares me every time I see her walking around the table!
