The Wait is Over/ Update on Us

My super smart husband got his LSAT scores back last Thursday right before the 4th. They actually came 3 days early...nice huh? So....THE WAIT IS OVER!!! I am not going to share his score, sorry, but he did very well! He was hoping for a 170(which is a unreal score). I can tell you he did not get that score, but he did do well. He was disappointed in his score only because his practice tests were almost a 170. He made a crucial time error on his best section which cost him 4 points. If he wouldn't have done that then we would have gotten an unreal score! So our conclusion is that it did not happen on accident, and that the score he recieved was the score he was supposed to get, which will keep us at a good school...no Georgetown, but a school that we can get scholarships to and not get into too much debt. If he would have gotten a 170 that would have made us apply to schools like Georgetown which are soooooooo expensive. A few schools have already been contacting him, so we will see! I am just sooooooooo proud of him. He didn't take a course, he just studied on his own and he was smart enough to do well! He is blessed with intelligence!

I am still very busy with school. Last week I just finished up my first summer session. I did really well, ended with 2 b's which I am SO grateful for! I was thinking I may not pass. It was pretty intense. Well, now I have moved into the 2nd session. Wish me luck. After that I start the fall semester with more than a full load. I think I am crazy! I really have been so blessed to be able to finish my education while being a mom. Brooklyn is the best kid! She rarely needs anything from me. She is so content playing and exploring on her own! She still is taking 2 long naps during the day. I know...she is amazing!

Here are some things that I am loving this summer. I really cannot get enough of any of these!

Crystal Geysers are my favorite drink in the summer. Wade made me buy a huge case of them at Costco. They are kind of expensive, so I was going to pass but Wade told me that I had to have them! He was so right!
Ok, have you ever tried Edomome beans? I am so obsessed with these all the sudden. I eat them when I go to sushi and love them. Then I was watching Regis and Kelly the other morning and they talked about them and then ate some . I went to the store that same day and bought some. I heat them in the microwave then squirt lemon all over them and then sprinkle salt! They are so incredibly healthy! They are loaded with protein! I could eat them everyday for lunch...and sometimes do. Brooklyn even loves them. I love to suck the outside as I get the bean from the inside!
I also can not get enough of watermelon! It is my favorite snack in the summer! I find my self continually in the refrigerator snacking on them! This one was a good one too!
Finally...I cannot get enough of my little Brooklyn. She is so incredibly cute and fun! She is becoming so stinkin' smart too! She has always been very smart, but all the sudden she is talking and copying every word we say. She also is really into animal sounds. All day we go through what each animal says. I am going to try and get a video of it soon! Also she is really learning all her body parts. It is so cute to watch her point or touch to each body part we ask her to find! These days with her are the best!
Oh and I have to ask if anyone is a Bachelor fan??? I am totally obsessed with the show! I have been watching it religiously since the second season. If I could pick only one show to watch it would have to be Bachelor/Bachelorette! Last night was the finale of Bachelorette and I am devastated! I wanted Jason to be chosen! I could not go to sleep until 1 last night because I was so upset! I know there are others like me, so I know I am not totally nuts! Wade secretly likes the show too! Although he wanted Jesse to end up with Deanna, so watching it with him last night was frustrating!

Good Job Wade, that is awesome! Hopefully you will end up in Utah and we will too. So, my Mom is still finding out about Continental, but don't worry I haven't forgotten we are still working on it! Cody still wants to wait until we get back from NM to make the final decision, we will be back on the 16th. Anyway, that watermelon looked yummy, I want to go buy one now:)

Good job to your hubby! Good luck with where ever you end up. Now about the bachelorette, I am with you...I so wanted Jason to win he is so much more stable and just all around good guy, I don't love Jesse, not at all through the whole show. Hopefully she doesn't regret her decision!

That is great news! I wish you all the best of luck where ever you end up! We love Edamame as well, it's so addicting. Jaidyn has always loved it, and she loves sushi too! We're all big sushi fans, and I have to say watermelon is definitely the way to go in this hot weather we've been having.
