Happy 4th of July!

Today turned out totally opposite of what I had planned. We were supposed to go to our ward bbq breakfast then head up to the lake and come back down to watch the fire works from our balcony.

This is what we did to celebrate! We did end up having a really great day!

We went to our ward breakfast at the park. Brooklyn was WAY more interested in playing than eating...not sure she had breakfast! She loves to go down the slide all by HERSELF. If you try to catch her at the end she will tell you, "Na No" and gets up to go to another slide. Little miss independent we have here!
Brooklyn and Wade played together and I kind of hung out. Kind of no fun for me! But glad they had fun.
Can you tell I love to dress Brooklyn to match all the holidays?
When we got home we decided not to go as my family was going up later in the day and we couldn't get any of our friends to go up with us! So...we cleaned and washed our cars! Boo!
Brooklyn played in the car the whole time and loved it. She even grabbed the keys and tried putting them in the ignition. Smart kid! I didn't know she even ever saw me do that! She has a totally blast moving around the car! She even found one of my favorite binkies under the seat!
We ended up going to our friends the Keele's for a FUN bbq! This is Brooklyn learning how to share! She got really excited about sharing...hope that sticks!
She had so much fun and so did we! All of our friends from the ward were there, so it made for a perfect party!
Brooklyn stole this treat from somewhere! She seriously stole food from everyone while we weren't looking!
She is such a beautiful girl!
Thanks Keele's for a very fun time! We had a blast!
Now we are waiting for the fire works. We have a really good views of down town and RSR park where they shoot them off. I cannot wait, although I am surprised I am still awake! I am so tired!

Tomorrow we are going to Sand Harbor! First time to the Lake this year...cannot wait!
