Wade and I had every intention on going to the lake today. We woke up super tired so when Brooklyn went down for a nap at 9 we took some allergy medicine and it knocked us out! We woke up at 1215. Well guess we missed the chance to go to the lake. So we headed for the pool instead. Wade was still groggy from the "non drowsy" allergy med. and a little grippey but Brooks and I had fun!

Wade covered the kid in sunscreen. He is a little paranoid. I guess better safe than sorry!
Brooklyn LOVED the pool this time. Usually she just hangs out in her little swimmey thing but this time she wanted out and wanted to swim by herself. She tried and tried to kick away from us. She really is becoming a little independent thing. She loves to swim now! I love it because I grew up a fish. You could never get me out of the pool!
We packed a bunch of snacks and Brooklyn definitely took part in helping us eat the junk food! She ate and ate and ate!
She was saying "cheese" as I took this! I love my Brooklyn!

Looks like so much fun! Brooklyn looks so big, she is turning into a little toddler, she is a cutie! I need to take Kaylee to a pool sometime. I am glad she likes her beach ball. Wade and Cody are so overprotective of their little girls, it is cute!

Well addy was once again sick so we just stayed in most the weekend too. At least we make attempts to plan family outings eventhough most of them canceled. Glad you had a good holiday weekend.
