I am SOO In LoVe

I am So In Love for TWO reasons.

#1...Wade is the greatest, cutest, most creative daddy I have ever known. Wade goes all out on Holiday's just like me (so glad we found each other!) Our kids are so lucky to have such a fun dad. Wade earlier in the week said he needed to get Brooklyn something for VDay. I thought just that he was thinking of getting her something was adorable. Well Friday night after we ate we stopped at Walmart because he said he needed balloons. And this is what he did after Brooklyn was asleep:

He filled her entire room up with balloons. Brooklyn LOVES balloons so he new she would go crazy! She ended up sleeping with us on Friday night because she had a huge fever and was starting to get sick again! So Saturday morning when she woke us up Wade took her into her room for her surprise.
She could not have been more excited! She walked in and immediately said, "Whoa" and began playing! She actually did not let us leave the room for about an hour after, as she wanted to play. I snuck out after a few minutes though and tried to go back to sleep since I had a horrible night sleep with Brooklyn awake sick in our bed. I could not sleep because I could not help but hear her excitement. She kept saying, "Daddy Happy Day" and "whoa" over and over and kept talking about the balloons in her room. Wade was so cute and loved every minute of seeing her excited for her Happy Day!

She thought it was pretty cool that the balloons covered her in her crib. She looks pretty happy in this picture!

#2...Wade takes very good care of me and never ceases to amaze me with his ideas and creativity. He loves spoiling me on holidays and I have to say I love it too! We won't be able to do these kinds of things for the next few years in law school so we are taking advantage of being able to now.

He has been noticing my current obsession of the HGTV channel lately. I watch it non stop when I am not busy, and I absolutely love it! I have also been talking a lot about redecorating our room because since we bought our house we have never really done anything in our room. We usually buy things and do projects to the other rooms.

WELL....my gift was to spend the weekend totally redoing our bedroom. He took me out yesterday and we searched every store to find a new bed set, and we found a cool one! We are also doing all new window coverings(we have unmatched thin curtains that are way to big for our windows, and we are painting our room too! He devoted the entire weekend to redoing our room! We are going to make a head board from an idea we got off of HGTV, and re- stain our armour too! I was SOOOOOOO excited about this VDay gift. He is so thoughtful and really focuses on what I want. I am so exited for tomorrow to really get started. Oh...and Wade totally loves this kind of thing, so he was all about picking out the pillows for our bed and thinking of different ideas with me.

After we shopped for awhile we dropped Brooklyn off with Macy and headed to our favorite place to eat, Red Lobster. YUMO! I was seriously depressed when my meal was over. Then we headed to see Yes Man (not a great movie). So that was our day and I have to say it was such an great day. I felt LOVED all day and I absolutely LOVE Wade. He could not be more perfect for me and I am so glad that I am still in love with Wade after 5 years. I am one VERY lucky girl:)
I am also so in love with Brooklyn too! She made my Valentines Day so much fun! She was happy all day and made me feel loved too! Life could not get any better at the moment!

Oh a BIG thanks to Macy who watched Brooklyn so we could go out. Luckily she got another baby sitting job, so she took Brooklyn with her and made double the money! Thanks Macy...you are the best and we are so lucky to have a sister like you:)
I will post so before and after pictures too! YAY!

I love HGTV!! Such good ideas, but I still don't have the guts to do them. I just think about them.

It sounds like the perfect day. I feel the same way -- sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky. (and you are both lucky!)

I love HGTV too -- my poor hubby knows what channel the TV will be on when he wants to watch something.

that's too cute. I remember for my 9th birthday my parents filled my room with balloons. Great memories! Hey, I'm going to Utah next week, but let's plan on doing something in March. Sorry we've just never connected. I'm excited to hear your answers from your tag. It was a fun one to do. My sister's (Heather) was way better since she got a helicopter ride to the hospital. Mine wasn't as eventful. :)
