I want to first off say that I feel uncomfortable writing this because I feel it is braggy. But I already addressed that issue.
Western State Law School in Fullerton, CA called Wade today and informed him that he was accepted (wahoo!) and then they mentioned that they were giving him A FULL RIDE SCHOLARSHIP to attend there. Yes...we are speechless, yes...we are excited, yes...we did not see that coming and yes...we are truly blessed. The cost of this private school is $33,000/year. The other great benefit is that it is 7.48 miles to DISNEYLAND. Yes...that was googled immediately after we found out:) They are also putting us up in a hotel next month so we can visit the school. Guess they really want him:) I am glad I have him:) So we are going to make a Disneyland trip out of it. Seriously...anyone want to go to Disneyland with us? How fun would that be?
So the down side is that it costs a BUTT LOAD to live there. We researched housing and you can get a 2 bedroom apartment for only 1400/month, chump change right? yeah right! Umm...that is basically a mortgage payment! So we have to consider that huge fact. California just declared that they are completely out of money and we were planning on living off of some state help...soooo that is no good.
Anyway, we are more than thrilled. Wade is simply...INCREDIBLE. This is 5 for 5 baby!

Wade is incredible! I'm so excited for you guys -- and a Disneyland trip too? I want to go!
YAY WADE!
I am so happy for you guys! So are you changing your top school now? Disneyland sounds fun, we actually were debating maybe going in March since Ryan has that month off from school, but not sure if Daniel is too young for that.
Maybe we can get together next week?
GREAT JOB!!
That is awesome! Way to go!
Congrats Wade!
Wow, congrats! That is AWESOME about the scholarships! That will help out so much. I can't believe how long Brook's hair is getting!
What a great opportunity for you guys-if you take it. I am sure Wade is thrilled! Anyways, have fun in Disneyland, and I am anxiously waiting to here what your decision is going to be between all these great choices of schools.
