What a GREAT weekend...and Some More GOOD news!

We had such an awful week last week. Brooklyn is just not being her normal self right now and I am SUPER sensitive and irritable...but I am working on that! I know Brooklyn is just picking up on my lameness and acting out. That and she is almost turning the big TWO! We did have some very good and exciting news to go along with mine and Brooklyn's bad week though!

On Wednesday we went with my friend Ausra and her little boy Daniel to the pool. We had so much fun, but Brooklyn was still being a butt. She ended up having fun half way through. We stopped by Round Table for the lunch buffet after swimming and I am not sure when the last time I have had such a yummy lunch. It must have been what I was craving! Thanks Ausra for such a fun time:)

Then the rest of the week went by and I had a doctors appointment on Friday where I had a bunch of tests done, some not so pleasant. The Dr. determined that I am NOT having preterm labor right now and everything looks completely normal. I just have a irritable uterus(a term I was familiar with last pregnancy). My blood pressure was completely normal too. So exciting! I think my working out has a lot to do with keeping it normal! So the highly anticipated Dr. visit ended out being very comforting and came with good news!

Then on Friday night we were supposed to go to our friends the Walkers for a birthday get together but by that night Brooklyn was not feeling well at all and came down with a cold, which we are still dealing with. So instead we got something to eat, rented The Rocker and I came home and fell asleep while Wade watched the movie. Nice relaxing night though!

Saturday was another great day. We cleaned up our house and then headed for the Minden Pool to swim just the 3 of us. Brooklyn has been really weird with the pool lately. She LOVED it in the summer, but since has been a butt! So Wade and I just let her do her thing by sitting on the step in the water and slowly we got her to walk around in the water. She found this noodle and that made all the difference. When she got it she was so into the water and loved playing, swimming and splashing. Wade and I had a total blast for the two hours we were there. She ended up crying because we were leaving. We have so much fun just the three of us! We were then on our way home and stopped by Chilies to eat dinner which ended up tasting so good! I must be pregnant...all of this eating is just soooo yummy!

Saturday night we came home, cleaned some more and then Wade got to making us some home made ice cream. It actually turned out tasting like a butter finger blizzard from Dairy Queen! YUM YUM! Thanks Jen Martin for giving us your ice cream maker! We are now in HEAVEN!

Then Sunday came along. Church of course, which is always fabulous. We came home early because Brooklyn was still sick, but we just relaxed and enjoyed spending time together doing nothing. Then we had the Karraschs' over for a super bowl party...kind of! More like our usual weekend hang out! We bbq'd some tri tip, had salad, bread, potato's, and some yummy snacks! It was way fun even though we were all rooting for the Cardinals. I was mainly because Kirk Warner is a HOTTIE!

Sara and I ran to my parents to get their propane tank and when we got back we found all three kids sitting on the ground munching a bag of chips and watching the game! How hilarious! Brooklyn now helps herself to the pantry and grabs whatever she wants. We will be getting a baby proof thing to stop that business! Cute though!

In other exciting news...We heard today that Wade got ACCEPTED to The University of Idaho School of Law! Now we are two for two! Wade is such a stud!

Not sure we will be going there, but still so exciting! If they offer a good scholarship we may though. We just got contacted through email about that one. We have to wait for the official letter of acceptance in the mail to know if it comes with any perks!

Here are the schools we are waiting to hear back on: BYU(not likely, but we would love to get in there) Uni of Utah, Uni of Las Vegas(last choice) Gonzaga in WA, Valparaiso in IN, Case Law School, Willamette in WA, one in AZ and one in North Carolina, and Western State in Cali.
