My Sweet 2 year old!

Today is April 6th and one of my favorite days of the year. Brooklyn thinks so too as it is her BIRTHDAY today. She turns the big, crazy 2 today:) I cannot believe that 2 years have gone by since she joined our family. These last two years have been 2 of my very best years. As a mom, there is nothing greater, more amazing, sweeter and more satisfying then watching your smart and beautiful daughter grow and progress. She is truly the LIGHT of my life. I love this little girl with every little ounce of my heart. I could not imagine a day without her. I am just so in love with Brooklyn and I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to be her mom. Wade loves this little girl too and the two of them have the most special bond. Brooklyn is truly the light in his life too. She absolutely LOVES and ADORES her daddy. She is the most perfect daughter too. I couldn't have hand picked a smarter, more well behaved, easier, more beautiful child if I would have be able to. Her personality is one of a kind too! She is a very animated, super fun little girl. She is the perfect mix of girl with her singing, dancing, lip stick and purse fetish, and her love for clothes and to look pretty, but then a perfect tomboy with her love of balls, basketball and sports, and athleticism. She is just the most perfect little girl. She definitely makes our life complete. I am so glad she is part of our Eternal family. She is also going to be the greatest big sister. She is already feeding the baby through my belly, giving him his binky, tucking him in at night and even tickles him. She is just such a sweet little spirit. She loves Jesus, reminds us to say our family prayer at nights and continually asks to go to church(probably for the nursery) and to the Temple. She is already an example to Wade and I. I have no doubt that she will always carry a strong testimony with her and will always be a shinning light in our family.

We had a little family bbq last night to celebrate her birthday. We kept it small because Disneyland ate all of our money:) We invited our family and our two Heims family friends, the Clarks' and the Smiths' and my two best friends the Karraschs' and the Bolands'(who couldn't come...sad day). We had a fun time. The theme was Tinkerbell, Brooklyn's new favorite.

Here are a ton of pictures.

Wade and Brooklyn hanging out together outside. Yes...she is dressed in a Tinkerbell outfit. She got it as a gift from Jenny the night before at the Disney store. It being a Tinkerbell party, she had to dress the part too! She was dang cute in it.
Singing Happy Birthday! She even blew out her candles.

Just the cutest girl I have ever seen! Oh and she LOVES LOVES her Tinkerbell dress:)
Here she is posing her new night gown.
And posing her new hat and boots from She She( my mom, Sheila).
She is saying, "pretty dress" here.
She got her first barbie car from Julie Smith and loves it!
She She got her Tinkerbell undies! Yeah, she thinks those are pretty cool too!
She She reading the card to her. She actually was interested in seeing the cards and new somehow to open them first! So polite!

Wade and I got her some outfits from Baby Gap and they are so cute! We also got her a little Tinkerbell sofa chair, although for some reason we did not get a picture of it. She freaked out when she saw it and has sat in in all morning so far!

We set up a bounce house but it didn't get used that much. bummer! Brooklyn played on it before everyone got there though!

Brooklyn and her boy friend Tracen playing for like a split second:)
"Ba Pa" played with her:)
Cool gift from the Karrasch family. Brooklyn is now OBSESSED with this bubble blower. She just pushes the button and wha-la...tons of fun bubbles! Thanks Sara...great great gift! She has already this morning asked to go outside and play with it!
Like I mentioned before, she got spoiled on Friday night by our very good family friend, Jenny Clark. As Wade went to the Priesthood session of conference and then to pizza, us girls went with Jenny to Sushi and then to the Disney Store. She went nuts in that store. Fresh from Disneyland...she knew all the characters and new exactly what she wanted! These animals were buy one get one free! I could not believe that great deal. So she got her two favorites!
The whole day she sang Happy Birthday and was excited all day long. She had such a great time!
Logan's actual birthday was yesterday! He turned 1, so I made him his very own cake too and we sung to both of them!
****
So today we are going to the gym, to lunch with Teri and Kade and then later tonight we are taking her swimming, her most favorite activity! We hope you have a great Birthday Brooklyn! We hope you know that your mommy and daddy think the absolute world of you:)

What a cutie-and Happy 2nd birthday to her! How fun that her birthday is April 6th-that is a very special day! :)

Are you guys really moving to Texas? I guess I should say congrats, but it will be sad to see you go. :) Although we will hopefully be moving soon too-so I guess I can't complain very much!
