Project Runway is one of Brooklyn's favorite shows. She loves every thing about fashion and creating fashion. Last time I let her watch it with me she got out her paper and markers and started drawing some outfits. She even had different hair styles for different outfits. It's hard to tell the outfits but she told me about each of them. All different and unique. I love her passion. She just might be a designer one day.
A few Fridays ago we went to the pumpkin patch with our besties Teri and Kade. It was fun. I love. LOVE. love this time of year. Best time of year in my book.
Hayride fun! How are these kids this old? Thank goodness I have another newborn on the way because these two are so old!
Brooklyn is off track and out of school this month and we have been trying to find fun things to do. We have made soup, muffins, and eaten lots of candy corn, done lot's of art, made some hair bows with our cousins, watched a lot of tv, shopped a little here and there, played, dressed up and taken lots of naps.
I love that these two are all mine.
I went and registered to vote (go Romney...and NOT because he is a Mormon) and when we were walking out, I saw this cute bench and snapped a picture. Weston is going through the weird smile for the camera phase. Brooklyn did it too. But he is still so cute.
Two Sundays ago, Brooklyn had her Primary Program at church. She was so stoked all week for it. Of course she planned out her outfit, accessories, and shoes. Brooklyn's hair is very silky and straight and does not hold a curl for anything. And we have tried everything. We tried these curlers and they held it for a few hours. At least for her program she got to have her hair beautiful.
She is so beautiful. But the best thing about this girl is that she is even more beautiful on the inside. Definitely can't get a sweeter, kinder girl.
She did EXCELLENT on her speaking part. She said her line all by herself. And she knew every word to every song and sang it loud. I loved the whole program.
We are missing Wade like crazy. It's so hard. We are used to having him gone but it is still rough. The kids are showing major signs of being sad about him gone. They need their daddy. I know we spent 10 days together but they were a total blur and a lot of the time were spent with our huge family in Vegas for a funeral. Two months with Wade gone stinks. Wade is actually starting to reallllllly miss us too. I think it is finally hitting him too. He is doing really well and still LOVES every thing about the military and every thing about JAG.
