This last Saturday our little family went and got our Christmas tree. Every year we have gone with my family to cut down the two trees. This year we went alone and it was still fun. This year I was reminded that Wade is a picky tree picker. I see one I like and want to get it, even though it is not perfect. Wade on the other hand won't leave until he finds the most perfect one. His standards are high up there too! It was just cute to watch him work. His efforts totally paid off. This year we...I mean He, found the most PERFECT tree. Thanks Wade for picking it out. We love it!
Here is our naked tree! Guess what? It even has pine cones still on it. They are little one, and they are so adorable! If you look close you can see them on the top.
Here is Wade putting up the lights. Usually this is my job, as I am particular about making sure every little branch is covered in lights. This year the tree was his baby, so I let him do the fun stuff.
Brooklyn got sick of us telling her to move, to not touch the ornaments, get out of the way, so she sat and watched Nemo. We let her help once we were ready to get the ornaments on.
Brooklyn handed me each ornament to put on the tree. She was such a good helper!

YIKES! Then this is what my house looks like today. I have been so incredibly busy studying for my finals, going to dance two times a week, and being a mom, that my house for the last two days have really suffered. And here I sit blogging while my house looks like this! Thank goodness I got one final out of the way today, so I am going to clean up right now!

I know Cody and Wade were talking about us (including Kaylee) possibly coming to Reno for one of the college football bowls. That would be sad if you never saw Kaylee until she was a year old:( And your tree looks AWESOME! It is so puffy, I love it! Hang in there with finals. Let your house go until they are done. How many do you have left? I expect an e-mail after they are over:)
There's a little haze effect on your Christmas tree pictures that makes them look just like snapshots from "Christmas Story." I love it!

Love the tree. Hey could you e-mail me your address and phone numbers. My cell phone mysteriously broke (although Zachary was the last to have it and it was really wet when phil opened the back) and I lost all my phone numbers. I need your address to send a Christmas card. Have you thought about Christmas eve. Let me know.
