Thanksgiving in Las Vegas

We just got back from our fabulous 7 day trip to Las Vegas for the Holiday. Brooklyn was in heaven the ENTIRE time and was such a angel the whole time. The food was great and the company was better. We also got to see our best friends John and Julie which is always so much fun. Here is my crazy amount of pictures. Most will be boring but they are all so memorable and pictures I want Brooklyn to see when she is older!

Here is Brooklyn and Jake doing the Dr. Pepper dance. Jake is so good at it. I guess he saw a Dr. Pepper commercial and mimicked the dance from it. So he got up there to entertain us and then Brooklyn followed. It was GREAT!

We spent 7 full days playing. Wade's grandparents have a basement that is bigger than our house and it is full of all kinds of toys. So needless to say, we spent the majority of time playing down there.

One night he whole family went and saw the new James Bond movie. I opted out of going with a crazy Brooklyn so we got dropped off at the Fashion Show mall. After awhile we got bored and ended up eating at The Pizza Factory inside the mall, just the two of us! We just colored and talked on the phone, so we wouldn't look like loners.

Gramma Slade was so in love with Brooklyn and Brooklyn adored her just as much. They played on the floor the whole week playing with toys. What a good Gramma!

Jake was such a pleasure to be with the whole week too! He was so good to Brooklyn and so good...he even let us sleep(since usually he wakes us all up EARLY!) He is getting so big and so handsome!

Brooklyn and her new cousin Ryder. She totally mothered him but this time she was gentle and nice. He was such a GOOD baby and not to mention super cute. Now I only have one more nephew to meet.

Brooklyn was so obsessed with her Uncle Jake. First word out of her mouth in the morning was Jake and when they left on Saturday, she asked for him the rest of the time there. I am so happy she remembers him and has such a love for him.

Here is Nana, Brooklyn and Ryder. What Nana wouldn't love rocking two of her grand kids to sleep. Brooklyn was lucky enough to be rocked to sleep a couple of times by her Nana. She also remembered her Nana too! She followed her around the entire time and always wanted her to hold her.

Here is Brooklyn as she got out of the plane today. Nana bought her a cute doggie bag and she loves it! The last day or so she was asking to go home. I Guess she missed her home.

One night the four of us played a mean game of poker. I had never played before and I came in second. Dave beat me, but I played a vicious game! I am now hooked.

Wade and I got to go out on Saturday night just the two of us. We drove around the strip and people watched and then went to this place called Luv It for some frozen yogurt. We had fun:)

On Thanksgiving night we all went and watched the awesome Bellagio water show. Brooklyn really liked it. It was so fun. Wendy and I wanted to check out the new Wynn resort too. Umm...it sucked! Horrible, horrible, horrible. There was nothing special about it and the decor did not go together at all. Lame!

*We also got to spend one night at the Temple doing family names that Dave has been working on. I have never done family names before, and what an experience. It was just amazing!

*Like I mentioned earlier, Wade's sister Wendy and her husband John came to Vegas and I really have never gotten a chance to know them. I have to say that I Love both of them. I loved seeing Wendy as a mom and we got so much time to talk and hang out. Brooklyn fell in love with her aunt Wendy and followed her around too. I think Wendy loved Brooklyn just as much! Wade really has a great family. Even though I love my family, being with his on holidays is almost like being home. I am so lucky.
