Brooklyn has been so, so , so in love with Santa this Christmas. She also loves the lights and the snowmen she sees too. It has been so fun to watch her get so excited about Christmas. I think this Christmas I have enjoyed over any others, so far. It is truly the best feeling in the world to be able to experience her love and excitement for things and to watch how animated she gets about them.
Anyway we headed to the mall last night to let her have a visit with a real Santa. She usually just sees the ones in peoples yard or on the decorations. We knew she would love it and she totally did. As we stood in the long line to wait, she spotted him through a crack and freaked out! She tried every way she could think of to get through the crack to go and see him. She kept yelling for him and everyone in line thought she was adorable.
There were fun things to play with on the way that kept her good and busy. Here are some pictures.

Yeah...she loved the mirror...not a surprise, she is all girl and LOVES mirrors!

Here she spotted another fun toy and then took off!

And this was the toy she spotted.

Guess she has love for the big ornaments! She is such a goofy kid.

I love this picture. I wish it was lighter but she totally smiled all cheesy and climbed up the gate to smile for me!
When we actually got to the front of the line I showed her Santa and again she freaked out and kept waving and saying Hi to Santa. Then when the kids in front of us were done, I let her down and she RAN straight to him and even took off her Santa hat to show him she had one too. It was the best thing ever to watch. She got up on his lap and I started telling her to tell him what she wanted. She told him a bball hoop, barbies and then when I got to Mickey she told him Mickey and then she started to name all the other Mickey characters. It was too cute! He gave her a high five and even did knuckles with her. Then she she showed him her nose and he wiggled it. She said thank you and bye bye to him, and she even showed him that she wanted one of his candy canes. I could not have asked for a better experience with Santa. It is really funny how I get so excited about the smallest things that happen.
As we walked to the food court to get a smoothie, she kept telling us about her time with Santa. She really loved it. We didn't want to pay for pictures there and they won't let you use your own camera(lame) so we decided we are going to hit the Dillard's Santa after church today. They let you take free pictures. Plus Brooklyn needs to see Santa again! I hate that Christmas is coming to a close because we are having so much fun celebrating!
Here are some other pictures from our fun weekend.

This is Brooklyn watching A Mickey Christmas special we recorded for her on Saturday morning. She seriously woke up with her Santa hat on. She goes to bed with it on and then wakes up and has it on. Then she wares it all day. I love it!

Her and I ate together at her little table last night for dinner. She LOVES when I eat with her! We did a small little, find something to eat kind of dinner and Wade wasn't hungry or else we would have had to pull up a big seat for him!
On Friday night we ate at Claim Jumper...it was so good. We like Claim Jumper because they give you a free baby plate of food. It has turkey, cheese sticks, apple sauce and fruit. It is so perfect and free! So anyway that is where we spent 2 hours(ughhh they took forever) on Friday night. She really enjoyed her chocolate milk though!
