Piggy Tails

I absolutely LOVE having a girl! I absolutely love thinking of cute outfits for her, I love all the girly things she is into and I love shopping for her. Recently I have a new love! She FINALLY has enough hair to put into piggies. I think her beautiful face and her gorgeous eyes really stand out with her hair pulled back. And it is a bonus because I was hoping she would have enough hair for piggies before she was two. We all know she has little hair and always has. But...we are making progress, she isn't even two yet!

On Friday night we took Brooklyn to spend her Walmart gift card that my Grandma mailed her for Christmas. She needed some food for her kitchen so we found the perfect one and let her carry it to the check out and pay for it. She totally knew exactly what to do. She even knew to swipe it in the debit card machine. Then she wanted to sign her name with the pen. She felt so big. And speaking of that, Wade and I talked the whole night about how big she is getting and how she really is growing up before our eyes. We could not get over the fact that she is no longer our little baby...she knows how to use the card machine!
Cute little piggies huh?

Here she is playing with a big power wheels at Walmart.

Can she really be this old? There is no more baby to her...except for her blanket and her binky I guess. Isn't she so beautiful?

I love my Brooklyn! Today we were in my bedroom on the floor and the door was closed. She wanted to go to her room so walked to the door, opened it, looked back and said bye bye. Then she walked back over to me and puckered up her lips, gave me a kiss and said bye again. This kiss was all on her own, I didn't even ask! I really just love her every minute of the day:) And the days are even better now that she is pretty much potty trained. She tells me when she needs to go(most of the time), goes potty in public(gross) and stays dry for a long time. Now we still have occasional accidents but now they are few and far between. I am so glad I didn't give up after the first week.

Isn't it ridiculous how fast they grow up? Ryon and I were just talking about that the other day. Ryon commented that Hoyt is officially a little boy and no longer our "baby". It makes me kind of sad!!

Brooklyn is sure a cutie! I love that she knew how to swipe card at Wal-Mart. Children are certainly observant of everything we do!

She is getting so big! Sometimes she reminds me of Lindy's little girl Nicole. Happy new year!
