Trip to Boise

We just got back from a fun weekend visiting Jentry, Augie, Addy, Paiton, G&G and Jake in Boise. Wade's parents met us there and we were so excited to all meet up and enjoy the three day weekend together. Brooklyn and Addison are 5 months apart and had so much fun playing the whole weekend...and sometimes fighting...what do you expect from girls that age? Well we had so much fun visiting, eating, shopping, eating, eating, baking, playing....oh and throwing up! Brooklyn had serious diarrhea on Saturday and was not feeling good most of the day. Wade ended up throwing up all night and into the morning on Sunday, and Jake threw up a few times Monday morning. Me, Paiton, Jena, Dave and Jentry all felt super sick Monday too! Luckily the bug was a fast one and didn't last longer than 12 hours. Despite that flu bug, we had a VERY good visit with our family!

Brooklyn and Addy jumping on the air mattress. They had so much fun falling over and laughing! I am so excited Brooklyn has a girl cousin her age! This weekend was a start to many more times of fun with the Iverson family.
I made Brooks and Addy the same cute jammies for Christmas. They looked so cute in them. Here they are first thing Saturday morning playing before the rest of us really got up. First thing out of Brooklyn's mouth the minute she woke up was, "Where Addy go?" And she asked her her first thing every morning we were there!

They really had a ton of fun playing together. Addy has a lot of toys Brooklyn does not have, so she was in heaven all weekend.

On Saturday we headed to the outlet malls in Boise to shop. I found some KILLER KILLER deals at the OshKosh and Carter's outlets. This little baby boy now has a ton of clothes already! After shopping we headed for some lunch and then to the YMCA for some fun swimming. Unfortunately, Brooklyn was really not feeling well and was so super tired that she had no fun and clung to me the entire time! Addy on the other hand is a little fish and loved every moment in the water by herself. She was so much fun to watch:) This YMCA pool was awesome too! It had tons of different areas.

The beginning of our time there Brooklyn had a little more fun, but then I guess she started feeling worse and ended up clinging to me. But here are her and her dad playing in the water for a minute.

She was really excited to get in the pool. Too bad!

Brooklyn and Paiton...who is the happiest, cutest thing ever! Brooklyn LOVED her and Paiton loved when Brooklyn would tickle her chubby cheeks. Paiton is seriously such a good, easy going baby! She was fun to be around!

Jentry and I with our girls.

Brooklyn bundled up in a towel. I think she was feeling better as we were about to leave. That little stinker could have had so much fun with Addy in the kiddie pool. Poor thing:(

The girls bundled up in their towels.
This picture shows perfectly how these two little stinkers would protect their toys from each other. At least they are cute! I actually appreciate times like these, they are perfect opportunities to teach Brooklyn to share and to be nice.

Playing in the tub clothed. Brooklyn was trying to escape because she knows she can't do this at home because she thinks it is funny to turn the shower on and get soaked. I think she taught to get in the tub and play.
We had so many accidents with diarrhea on Saturday. She ended up leaving the pool in a pair of shorts I bought for the baby. She looked like a TOTAL nerd!

An Iverson family get together would definitely not be complete without lots of baking and eating. Here are the two girls trying to help Aunt Jentry bake. Sunday morning Wade's dad made omelets, Jentry made pumpkin scones(yum) and then after dinner we ate homemade pumpkin cookies and some oatmeal, chocolate, maybe peanut butter brownies. It was all so good! And of course we had homemade rolls for dinner that Jena made. I love spending time with this family for many reasons, but the eating and baking part is so yummy!

Thanks Jentch for a great weekend! We loved your cute house and your cute kids!

That looks like so much fun! I keep hoping Kaylee will get a cousin soon but no such luck! You are still looking tiny! No fair! I don't even see a little bump yet. I really hope you guys end up in NC too. And I have some info for you about student loans and what we will be living off of...it is scary! Are you guys still thinking about the army?

Looks like fun. I wondered where you were. I love your backgorund I changed mine a week or so ago. I kind of like to change it up a lot.
I am excited about your killer deals. Isn't that the best.
