Brooklyn is now 21 months old and still the happiest girl I have ever met. She is such a joy to be around and such an exciting part of mine and Wade's life. Since Christmas we have really enjoyed watching her play pretend with her babies, her kitchen and her mickey toys. My parents got her this awesome baby set at Costco that has a baby, a stroller, car seat and a cradle that Brooklyn adores.
Here are some of the pictures I have taken in the last few days of her playing with her new toys.
Here is just Brooklyn being cute. I love her so much!
Every day she plays with her babies and her kitchen. She gets her kitchen stuff out and feeds baby Ashley daily. It is so cute watching her prepare the babies food. She then puts the baby na night and gives her a blanket and lays her in her bed(the cool baby set has to stay at my parents for her to have there). Another cute thing she does is copy what I am doing to her and does it to her baby. When she had a bad cold the last 2 weeks, we had to wipe her nose and every time she would ask for a tissue for her baby and wipe baby Ashley's nose. So cute! She is such a good mommy.
Here she is nuking the baby bottle in the microwave. I was in there this morning playing for a few minutes with the baby but then told her I needed to leave and go vacuum. She then did the sweetest thing. As I am about to get the vacuum started she grabs my finger, holds on, and says come eat with her babies. She pulls me into her room, asks me to sit down and continue to play pretend baby/kitchen with her. That is one of the sweetest things ever, since she usually wants to play alone.
Here is another favorite activity. Winter got her this seek and find Mickey book. She (no joke) looks at this book 10 times a day. She always sits by me and asks me to ask her where things are in the book. She LOVES it!
We took a HUGE piece of yummy chocolate cake home from our dinner with Paul and Kristinathe other night. We had it sitting on the table in tin foil and she comes in the next morning with both hands covering her mouth, laughing and covered in chocolate. She totally grabbed a huge handful and stuffed it in her mouth, then thought it was funny enough to come and show me. It was pretty funny!
This kid still loves to sleep. She asks to go to bed every night when she is tired. This morning she wanted to sleep with her baby. Some other things she loves:
*She loves to run. She runs everywhere, and I mean everywhere, even tiny little distances.
*She loves to ride her power wheels.
*She loves to dance and sing.
*She loves to cuddle with dad every night and watch Mickey before bed.
*She loves to talk talk talk. There is no stopping her now. She talk in sentences now for awhile and I LOVE it. She knows how to answer the phone and have a real conversation with whom ever is on the other line. I should get video of it since it is pretty stinkn' cute!
*She loves nursery.
*She loves Tracen and Kade. She asks about them all the time and wants to go bye bye to see them!
And the latest on potty training:
Getting better everyday. She is now telling me a few times that she needs to go potty. She goes longer with out having to go and loves her undies! We still have an occasional accident, but all in all it is progressing.
