These last two days have been yet another success story. We are sooooo proud of Brooklyn! She has had only two accidents in the last two days. We still take her every 25 minutes or so. She keeps pretty much a dry diaper through naps and tells us right when we get her in the morning that she needs a diaper change. We are keeping a diaper on her through naps, night time and anytime we need to go out. I just got the helpful advice from my sister in law Jentry to use pull ups when you go out in public. She is at the tail end of potty training, so she is an excellent source for advice. So on Monday I plan to go and buy some. I don't know how it is different from a diaper but they make them for a reason so I guess I will try.
The problem is still that she is not telling us when she needs to go. Monday will be a full 7 days we have been potty training, so I guess I just need to be patient. She did however tell us once tonight. We were out getting some rolls for tomorrows dinner at smiths. I was inside and Wade and Brooklyn were waiting in the car. I guess while I was in there she kept telling Wade she needed to potty and pooh poo. Then when I got in the car she repeatedly told me over and over the same thing. We were telling her to hold it and trying to distract her. We really didn't know for sure if she really needed to go, or if she was just talking about going potty. Wade was determined to get the movie Traitor from the redbox which was out at smith's so he took the chance and went to 7-11. I was not in favor of risking her peeing in her car seat but whatever! Keep in mind Brooklyn is still telling us she needs to potty. I went in got the movie and we sped home! I took her out of her seat as we were pulling up and ran her in. She dropped everything and ran for the potty. And come to find out she really did need to pee! She was so proud of herself! We were so excited she told us but more importantly that she HELD it that long!
Guess time will tell if and when she continues to tell us!

GO BROOKS'!!!!!! She is doing great. I love her little bum in her cute little undies. She was so adorable at my game tonight! Thanks for coming!!!
Yay Brooklyn! So funny story, today at church, since Chris is now the only parent in charge, he got called out of Sunday School, because Tracen kept telling his nursery leaders that he "needed to go potty" Whatever! That boy is a tease. So Chris took him and not pottying for him!!!
Good job Brooklyn! She really is doing great. Nice resolutions too. Some of ours our similar. Good luck in keeping them! This year is going to be a wild one for you. You will do great though I'm sure:)
Pull Ups are the way to go. It will totally help her feel like a big girl and help you avoid accidents and total disrobals to change her/take her potty in public.
I hope it sticks and she is totally trained for you before baby comes. (It is so nice to only have to change one kids diaper during the day!)
