A few weekends ago Brooklyn's little friend had a pirate party. I tried my best to dress them up with things I had around here. They loved it!

He kept this bandanna on the whole time. Good Boy!

My two little pirates!

They are both into reading right now. Brooklyn goes through phases where she doesn't want to read books. Right now she loves them and so does Weston.

Every morning since Brooklyn was about a year she has eaten a blueberry eggo waffle for breakfast. We also include some oatmeal or a banana, but sometimes we don't. Weston has jumped on the eggo waffle train and they eat together every morning. It is quick and easy. I definitely need my 45 minutes in the morning to check email, bank account, blog, fb, ect. so I am glad they both love them.

Weston's latest trick is a scary one. He now can climb up the entire fight of steep stairs all by himself. He has fallen down once and it was scary. We have a gate up at the top and looks like we will need another one at the bottom. Super annoying.

We are slowly weaning Weston off of formula. He still likes bottles. We usually still give him two each day. He is a pro at eating real food and drinking from a sippy cup. He hates any slimy food. He loves bread, strawberries, apples, waffles, crackers, yogurt, apple sauce, meat, chicken nuggets and cereal. He does love milk too.

He is getting better at walking and standing alone. Still isn't walking but he is taking a few little steps by accident. It is so weird because Brooklyn would have been walking for four months now. Weston seems so baby too me and too little to walk. I would rather him walking though. It would make life so much easier.

Yesterday Weston had his one year appointment. He is healthy and smart! Weston hammed up his personality in front of the Dr. The Dr. determined he is right handed and is very socially aware.
Here are his stats. Which were VERY surprising!
Weight: 22pounds---36th percent? What, my fat boy? guess so!
Height: 30 inches---80th pecent!
The Dr. immediately asked us about his weight. He said he is on the skinny side which is not a bad thing but he has always been in the 75th for weight. He wasn't worried more just curious. I guess crawling and walking around furniture has thinned him up. And maybe not having so much formula. Who knows. He is cute that is all I know.
