Pool Party, well not so much

Last Friday was Weston's Birthday and also his birthday party. I have to say I am disappointed but at the same time we had a lot of fun. Last week was absolutely nuts. We were all super sick. I being one of the sickies didn't get to do all the cute things I had envisioned for his "pool" party. Even Friday I was pretty sick. I drank what seems like a whole bottle of peptobysmul. I wasn't about to cancel the party and I am glad I didn't. Anyway, we were supposed to have a fun pool/bbq party at our house. Unfortunately the wind and cold weather prevented this from happening. So back up plan was executed and we ended up at the park. I threw out the idea of even trying to decorate. The wind was stubborn. With all that, the party was fun and we enjoyed all of our friends who came to help celebrate.

I bought all of these cute red tins at Hobby Lobby. They were going to go PERFECT with all the decorations that never left the house! Dang wind.

Here are the pool themed goodie bags. And the cupcakes. They were supposed to look like water and have a dolphin fin on them. I was way to sick to make them though.

Brooklyn was so excited for her brother's party. She woke up and put her bathing suit on. She loves bdays as much as I do!

We just invited a few friends this time. With all of our birthday's being in a 30 day time period, we needed to keep it small. So we invited all of our friends with kids Weston's age. It was fun and Weston loved everyone!
