Crazy...that is all I can say

She hasn't looked this happy and smiley for a few days :(

What a CRAZY last seven days I have had. I will tell you exactly what has progressed through these last seven days.

1. Last Thursday I got called into the Bishop's office. Our ward boundaries have been completely realigned as of three weeks ago. They created two new wards and rezoned everyone. We were put into a ward with very few people we know. That is emotional in and of its self. I FINALLY felt comfortable and loved in a ward and then I get put into another ward. Thankfully I got over it pretty quick and appreciate the reasons why the stake presidency did what they did. Missionary work is exploding here. Anyways, back to my meeting with my new Bishop... He called me as the YOUNG WOMEN'S PRESIDENT. I about fainted. At first I thought it was comical. Then quickly it turned into feelings of severe inadequacy and overwhelmed emotional. The days that proceeded I found myself very worked up, stressed and was bordering a nervous break down. Then I went to the Temple and those feelings turned into peace. More on this wonderful/nervous experience later.

2. Brooklyn's whole ordeal at the hospital. Yuck and poor girl. The latest news is that we thought she had gastero...whatever it was called. Nope. Yesterday the doctor called to inform me that he got more lab results on Brooklyn's stool samples and she tested positive for Rhoto Virus. Most all kids these days are vaccinated against this severe illness, as of 3-4 years ago. Somehow my doctor in Reno was not giving them to patients at the time Brooklyn was an infant. Long story Short, Rhoto is a sever illness of the bowls, causes severe dehydration, vomiting, explosive diarrhea, fever and killed 600,000 children every year until they created the vaccine. Weston was immunized for this. To end this little story, the rest of us should not get it, but poor Brooklyn will probably have diarrhea for the next two weeks and she has yet to feel better.

3. Wade is in finals this week. This guy deserves a father/husband/student of the year award. He is studying like crazy but at the same time he is taking REALLY good care of the kids. We are tag teaming these trials head on. I could go on and on about Wade and how good he has been to us. He took his first final today and felt good about it. 2 more to go and the first year will be OVER!

4. We ventured out to the park today for some fresh air. Long story short, Weston barfed big time, Brooklyn diarreahed in her pants and the poor kids hated every minute of being at the park. So much for trying to get some fresh air. Since then Brooklyn has had more diarrhea (thankfully on the toilet) and a bloody nose. She is still definitely not feeling well. She hasn't eaten much the last 4 days, despite our efforts to get food down her.

5. My birthday yesterday was very awesome and a direct blessing from Heavenly Father. He looked out for my little family yesterday so that I could enjoy my day. And I did!

6. So now we are combating Brooklyn and Weston not feeling well. Boy I will love when this week is over. Speaking of this week, Weston is TURNING ONE on Friday. Sweet Boy, I hope he feels better!
